George W. Brinkhouse, 76 of Gothenburg died Saturday at Gothenburg.

He was born Nov. 30, 1908, south of Gothenburg and was raised on a farm. He attended rural School District 51. In 1930, he married Rachael Marshal in Farnam. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Gothenburg.

Survivors include two sons, Dean of Tulsa, Okla., and Dale of Eugene, Ore.; one daughter, Ruth Albion of Arlington, Texas; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by Rachael.

Graveside services were held Tuesday at the Gothenburg Cemetery with the Rev. Charles Miller officiating.

McVay Memorial Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
