Rose Carman, 74, a life long resident of the Orafino and Farnam communities passed away Monday morning in the Gothenburg hospital. (1963)

She is survived by one brother, Wayne Parker of Farnam; and four sisters, Mrs. Mae Blackwood, Farnam, Mrs. Etta Albreacht, Plaattsmouth, Mrs. Edna Preston, North Platte, and Mrs. Ruby Stinnette, Herndon, Kansas.

Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 2 p.m. in the St. Matthews Episcopal Church in Farnam with the Rev. Robert Hall officiating.

Pallbearers were: Lee Hudson, Grover Widick, Ralph Parker, Argil Donner, E. B. Lewis and Dean Anderson. Interment was in the Farnam Cemetery with McVay-Oleson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
