William Henry McCarl
William Henry McCarl, age 64 years, 10 months and 17 days died
Monday at Hastings.
The remains were shipped to Farnam for burial, and funeral
services were held this afternoon from the Nazarene church south
of town, conducted by Rev. Leroy Whisson.
William H. McCarl was born near Pittsburg, Pa., May 22, 1855.
He was united in marriage to Anna Palmer, January 18, 1881. To
this union 8 children were born. One child died in infancy, and
his wife departed this life, October 1901.
In 1896, he with his family moved to Frontier county, where he
resided most of the time until his death.
He leaves three daughters and three sons to mourn his loss;
Mrs. Iva McMichael, Mrs. May Wagner, Mrs. Etta Campbell, Roy
McCarl, Vern McCarl, Henry McCarl and one sister and two
brothers.
He was reclaimed in the revival at Lone Start, May 1919 and
there seem to be a change in his life from that time.
The funeral was held in the Lone Star church, April 8, 1920
conducted by Rev. Roy Whisson.
