Donald (Jack) L. Cole died at the Veterans Hospital in Sturgis, S.D., on Friday, Feb. 13 at the age of 60. Services were Tuesday, Feb. 17 at McVay Memorial Chapel with Rev. Karl L. Lent officiating. Interment was in the Farnam Cemetery.

He was born to Mr. and Mrs. Weaver Cole at Doniphan on June 24, 1920. He was a veteran of World War II serving with the armed forces from 1942 to 1946.

He is survived by one sister, Jean McNickle of Manhattan, Ks.; and two brothers, Kenneth Cole of Denver, Colo., and Dale Cole of Palm Beach, Fla.

Music was provided by Mrs. Gene Hecox at the organ. Taps was played by Bob Buddenberg. Casket bearers were Stanley Haynes, Lester Keiser, Ray Stickelman, Dale McNickle, William Hill and Orvale Widick.
