George K. Duis, 85, of Gothenburg, died Dec. 8, 1998, at Gothenburg Memorial Hospital - Long Term.

He was born June 14, 1913, at Farnam to Frank and Dena Rossendahl Duis.

He farmed northwest of Gothenburg for many years with his brother Frank.

Survivors include a sister, Grace Knoedler of Cozad; two nieces and four nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Tena Cumpston, and a brother, Frank.

Memorials are suggested to the donor’s choice.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Blase Memorial Chapel, Gothenburg. Burial will be in the Farnam Cemetery.
