Mrs. Hathaway, 98, the oldest person in Farnam, passed away in her home here in Farnam Monday.

She was the widow of Samuel Hathaway who died in 1921.

She is survived by one daughter, Miss Eva Hathaway; one sister, Mrs. Mart Van Sickle, of Seymour, Iowa.

Funeral services were held Wednesday. Burial was in the Farnam cemetery.
