Elmer Jackson Passes Away Very Suddenly

This community was greatly shocked and grieved last Saturday, forenoon when it was learned that Elmer L. Jackson had very unexpectedly passed away that morning at his home here in Farnam. Mr. Jackson had been sick but a couple of days and was not thought to be seriously ill, but he suddenly passed away Saturday morning, death being due to tosillitis.

Elmer Lewis Jackson was born in Farnam, June 16, 1902, and departed this life July 5, 1930 at the age of 28 years and 19 days.

During his life he lived in or near Farnam. His work being farming and draying. He was united in marriage to Mabel Maloney on May 3, 1923. To this union were born three children, Jeannette, 6; Phyllis, 5 and Ardis, 2.

He is survived by his wife, three children, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Jackson, a brother, Rollan all of Farnam; two sisters, Mrs. W. E. Patterson of Gothenburg, and Mrs. A. E. Smith of Belmont, Nebr. Other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services were held in the Baptist church Monday afternoon, conducted by Rev. Lauren Messersmith of Stockville. Interment was made in the Farnam cemetery.
