Obituary Collection
Young Couple Asphyxiated

The bodies of two tudents of the Curtis school were found in a parked car near the public school building in Curtis Monday morning, where it is thought they had been since Saturday night.

The girl was Ruth Klein, daughter of Louis Klein who resides on a farm twelve miles south of Farnam and the boy was named Owens from near Stockville.

The gas tank of the car was empty and the switch key was turned on, which leads to the belief that their death was caused by monoxide gas. (2/7/1944)
