Obituary Collection
Alfred Eugene Pearson

Alfred Eugene Pearson was born April 28, 1919, at Moorefield, Nebraska and passed away at North Platte, July 14, 1934. Aged 15 years, 2 months and 16 days.

His was a brief illness of four days.

He leaves to mourn his departure his mother and father, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Pearson, three brothers, Frank, Gailan and Beauford; two sisters, Vera and Vivian, three grandparents, Mrs. M. E. Pearson of Moorefield; and Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Reeves of Humboldt, Nebraska.

Alfred was a student at the Ingham school. He was always kind and thoughtful to others dividing to the last with home folks.

In his last hours he was conscious that he could not live and prayed to God and told those around him that his Father was going to take him home.

Sunset and evening and after that the dark
And may ther be no meaning of the bar, when I embark
But such a tide as moving seems asleep, too full for sound or foam
When that which drew from out the stormy deep, turns again home.
Sunset and evening star and one clear call for me,
I hope to meet my pilot face to face when I put out to sea.

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the Jackson funeral home with Rev. Elizabeth Mead in charge. Interment was in the Farnam cemetery.
