Edmund Trindel

Edmund Trindel was born August 19, 1874 at Napoleon, Indiana and died May 12, 1930 at Soda Springs, Idaho, age 55 years, 8 months and 23 days. He moved with his parents and settled on a homestead south of Farnam, Nebraska in 1884.

His father departed this life in 1890 leaving in his care, at the age of 16, a widowed mother, one brother and two sisters.

He was baptized into the German Brethern church at the age of 18, of which he was a faithful member and lead a consistent Christian life until death.

He was united in marriage to Martha I. Martin of Farnam, Nebraska, March 14, 1897. In this vicinity their six children were born.

He, with his family, homesteaded at Powell, Wyoming in 1909, where he became a member of the I.O.O.F. and resided there until 1916. They then located on a ranch north of Farnam, Nebraska, where they made their home until the spring of 1920, when they moved to Wendell, Idaho.

In 1923 they located at Paxton, Nebraska, where he resided until the past year, which was spent in Prosser, Washington, where he made many friends.

He leaves to mourn his death a wife, six children, Ora B. Armitage, Glenns Ferry, Idaho; Martin O. Trindel, Cozad, Nebraska; Etta Ernestine Burgener, Glenns Ferry, Idaho; Edmund C. Trindel, Cozad, Nebraska; Florence O. Shively, Burwell, Nebraska; Helen Garnett Trindel, at home, seven grandchildren, a mother, two sisters, other relatives and a host of friends.

Funeral services were held at the Baptist church and interment was made in the Farnam cemetery.
