MRS. ED TRINDEL PASSES AWAY

Word was received here the first of the week of the death of Mrs. Ed Trindel, at a North Platte hospital on Monday.

Mrs. Trindel received severe injuries in an automobile accident some time ago, at which time her husband was killed, and these injuries developed into complications which caused her death.

People of this community extend their sympathy to the bereaved ones in their sorrow.

OBITUARY OF MRS. ED TRINDEL

Martha Isabelle Martin, daughter of Miles F. and Rhoda Martin was born July 30, 1876 at Geneva, Nebraska and died at North Platte, Nebraska, June 2, 1930, age 53 years, 10 months and 2 days.

She grew to young womanhood near Geneva, Nebraska removing with her parents and family to Farnam, Nebraska in 1892, where she taught several years in the Rural schools.

She was baptized into the Church of Christ at the age of 16, of which she was a faithful member and led a consistent christian life until death.

She was united in marriage to Edmund Trindel of Farnam, Nebraska, March 14, 1897. In this vicinity their six children were born.

She and her husband homesteaded at Powell, Wyoming in 1909 and resided there until 1916. Returning to Nebraska, they located on a ranch north of Farnam, where they made their home until the spring of 1920 when they moved to Wendell, Idaho, where she joined as a member of the Rebekah Lodge No. 96.

In 1923, they located at Paxton, Nebraska, where they resided until the past year, which was spent in Prosser, Washington, where they made many friends.

Her husband preceded her in death three weeks and she leaves to mourn her death six children; Ora B. Armitage, Glenns Ferry, Idaho; Martin O. Trindel, Cozad, Nebr.; Etta Ernestine Burgener, Buhl, Idaho; Edmund C. Trindel, Cozad, Nebr.; Florence O. Shively, Burwell, Nebr.; Helen Garnette Trindel, at home; seven grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Westrope, Boley, Okla., and Mrs. Etta Uhlig, Sutherland, Nebr., and one brother, J.O. Martin, Farnam, Nebraska. Numerous other relatives and a host of friends.

Funeral services were held at Farnam on Thursday, June 5th and burial was made in the Farnam cemetery.
