Upon returning from the war, their second daughter, Pamela, was born. The family began farming on the Oman family farm in 1948, south of Gothenburg and began attending the Banner Methodist Church.

Kenneth and Lorraine enjoyed traveling the United States and taking Kenneth’s artwork from his retirement hobby to statewide fairs and art competitions.
