Ann Gall

Ann Gall, 84, of Eustis died June 22, 2002, at Tri County Hospital in Lexington.

She was born Aug. 30, 1917, to Mardiros and Mariam Kassabian at Worcester, Mass., where she graduated from high school. She graduated from Framingham (Maine) College. She became a registered dietitian after serving a one-year internship at a New York hospital.

On June 20, 1944, she married Wilbur Gall at Miami. The couple made their home on the family farm south of Eustis in 1947. She taught home economics and science at Eustis and Farnam School until 1972.

Mrs. Gall was a dietary consultant at area hospitals while teaching. Following her teaching career, she was a registered dietitian at the Tri County Hospital at Lexington until her retirement.

She was a member of the United Methodist Church at Eustis, American Dietetic Association and the Eustis ladies water aerobics group.

She is survived by her husband; a son, Clark (Jan) of Eustis; two granddaughters, Kara Ann Gall of Oakland, Calif., and Rachel Gall of Eustis; a great-granddaughter, Lydia Rai Gall of Oakland, Calif.; and two nieces, Miriam Horton and Susan Aznavorian, and a nephew, John Hogenmuller, and their families. Six special grandchildren also survive her.

She was preceded in death by a son, Matthew; and three sisters, Sivart Ivok, Mary Hogenmuller and Helen O’Brien.

A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the United Methodist Church in Eustis with the Rev. Dr. William Deahl officiating. A family inurnment ceremony will precede the memorial service.

The memorial book can be signed from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. today through Friday at the Berryman Funeral Home at Cozad.
