Martin Ralph Jurjens

Martin Ralph Jurjens passed away Monday night in a Cozad hospital after a five month confinement. He was 88 years of age and had enjoyed good health until a year ago.

Martin came to America the age of nine years and later settled in the Eustis community where he farmed south of town until he retired into Eustis.

He was preceded in death by his first wife and small daughter (I[v]a Lehman Jurjens and 4 year old, Lucy). In 1945, he was united in marriage to Anna Mak of Eustis. He leaves with his passing his wife, Anna; four sons, Ralph of Farnam, Albert of Cozad, Ben of Missouri, and Amos of Eustis; three daughters, Elenore Haskins of North Platte, Esther Loudon of Wyoming and Edna of Gothenburg.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10:00 a.m, in the E.U.B. Church at Eustis with burial in the Methodist cemetery at Eustis.
