Albert Kniestadt, 73, of Gothenburg died Wednesday, Aug. 4, 1982, at a Gothenburg nursing home. He was born Nov. 22, 1908, in Marysville, Kan. He is a World War II veteran and has lived in the Gothenburg area for the past 40 years.
He is survived by his wife Marjorie of Gothenburg; two sons, Douglas and Robert of Cozad; two daughters, Marilyn (Mrs. Bill) Decker of Sterling, Colo. and Kimberly (Mrs. Steve) Brown of Gothenburg; eight grandchildren.
Services were Friday at 1:30 p.m. at the McVay Memorial Chapel in Gothenburg. Burial was at Ft. McPherson National Cemetery near Maxwell. Memorials may be made to the Cancer Fund.
