Marsha Puppe

Marsha (McNickle) Puppe, 66, of Leawood, Kansas, died Wednesday, February 8th, 2012, at the Menorah Medical Center in Kansas City.

Marsha was born on January 31st, 1946, to Glen and Jean (Cole) McNickle.

Marsha and her brother Stan grew up in Farnam and they moved to North Dakota after Stan graduated from Farnam High School in 1962. After Marsha graduated, she attended Bismark Junior College and later the family moved to Billings, Montana. Here she met Jerry Puppe and they were later married. Jerry and Marsha then lived in Alexandria, Virginia and later settled in Leawood, Kansas.

Marsha struggled with health issues over the last 20 years and in the end, COPD, diabetes and other things were too hard to fight, even though she gave it her best. Her family were the light of her last years.

Marsha is survived by her husband, Jerry Puppe of Leawood; her son, Steve and his wife Megan of Olathe, Kansas; granddaughters, Madison and Sydney Puppe of Olathe; brother, Stan (Sue) McNickle of Overland Park, Kansas; numerous nieces and nephews.
