Della Irene Schnackenberg, 80, of Bella Vista, Arkansas died Wednesday, September 30, 2009 at Mercy Medical Center in Rogers, Arkansas. She was born on August 3, 1929 in Farnam, Nebraska to Harold Lehman and Viola Johnson Lehman.

She and her husband Bill moved to Bella Vista in 1992. She was a member of the United Lutheran Church. She was active in the Crime Watch Association and Bella Vista Recycle Center.

Survivors include her husband, Bill Schnackenberg of Bella Vista, Arkansas; daughters, Kris Wheeler and husband Scott, Kathy Bassett and husband, Gale; son, Paul Schnackenberg; five grandchildren; three brothers and two sisters.

A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, October 5, 2009 at the United Lutheran Church, 100 Cooper Road, Bella Vista, Arkansas. A second service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, October 7, 2009 at the American Lutheran Church in Gothenburg, Nebraska. Arrangements are by the Bella Vista Funeral Home & Crematory, 2258 Forest Hills Blvd., Bella Vista, Arkansas.
