Dallas—Funeral services were held Tuesday from the Henkle and Thomas funeral parlors for Frank Russell Smith who resided for 26 years in this city, moving to Salem shortly before his death December 6. He was born at Cathan, Ontario, August 18, 1862 afterward accompanying his parents to Lexington, Neb. In 1886 he married Augusta Katho, and in 1904 he moved to Dallas. He is survived by his widow, one son, Arthur, Jennings Lodge, and one daughter, Ruth, of Salem. Services were conducted by Rev. A. P. Layton, Salem, Rev. Jacob Stoker and M. B. Young of Dallas. Interment was in the I.O.O.F. cemetery.
