HATHAWAY — Everett N. Hathaway of 456 West 18th, Eugene, passed away June 21, 1978 at the age of 82. He was born November 22, 1895 in Farnam, Nebraska, and had been a resident of this vicinity since 1923. He was a member of St. Mary’s Episcopal Church and the VFW. He was married to Eunice Hofsteater in Eugene on November 22, 1926. Surviving besides his wife are two sons: Robert of Portland and Donald of Veneta; two sisters: Mrs. Cyrl Ball and Mrs. Dot Dotson, both of Eugene; brother, Thomas McHoes of San Jose, California; three grandsons. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, June 7th at 10:30 a.m. in St. Mary’s Episcopal Church. Cremation was held. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Eastern Star Projects in care of POOLE-LARSEN CHAPEL.
