A former resident of Farnam, Arthur Wear, 70, died Saturday in California.

Mr. Wear was a retired serviceman.

Survivors include two daughters, Barbara and Linda; one son, Joe; three sisters, Marie Hazen of Eustis, Lucett Halley of Stockville and Lewise Smallfoot of Gibbon.

The body was cremated.
